Student driven citizen science projects is underway!
Under the GROMADA framework the season of student driven citizen science projects is underway! These projects aim to apply citizen science principles for assessing various environmental issues in Ukraine, focusing on revealing the war damage to the local ecosystems.
The team of experts from GROMADA project partners is ready to provide their state-of-the-art expertise on citizen science, environmental research and project development. If you are a student studying environmental or social sciences, or you specialize in other domains like legal or data sciences (or any other), and you are interested in developing citizen science initiatives and are ready to apply your skills for addressing environmental challenges, please join to share your knowledge, diligence and enthusiasm.
There are several options how you may step in. You can join one of the Ukrainian teams, and contribute to exploring, interpreting and analyzing the data. You can form your team and do research near you, which is similar to a project in Ukraine, and then exchange the data with your Ukrainian counterparts. You can come up with your idea for the project and we will help to form a team. For the projects currently on list please visit the webpage: www.gromada-erasmus.eu/citizen-science-projects.
For further details and submitting your application please email to grinchenko_yuriy@onu.edu.ua. Please apply by 15th of March. In your submission email please indicate your credentials, the University you are from, your field of study, the projects you are interested in or your project ideas.
