Impact of Armed Conflicts on Water Resources and Infrastructure
The webinar highlights the increasing trend in recorded conflicts where water was used as a trigger and as a casualty over the past decade. A key focus is set on the armed conflict between Ukraine and Russia, which led to the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam on the Dnipro River on 6 June 2023.
