It concentrates on three observed trends of animal distress during Russia&#8217;s invasion of Ukraine: first, the targeting and destruction of zoo animals; second, the sharp decline of the BlackSea dolphin population; and third, the consumption of pigeons and other domestic animals in areas under siege.
